During Nurses Week, I think it is important for all of us at Twin Cities Community Hospital to take a moment and reflect upon all that our nurses do for our patients and their families, fellow staff members, and for our community.
As I walk through the hospital, I am always impressed by the level of expertise and dedication from our entire staff to every individual who walks through our doors. It’s not everyday that you can walk down a hall and see one of your team members holding the hand of a child, administering a life saving medication, or being an integral part of the emotional and physical healing process. Few things can be compared to what our nurses do everyday. They give of themselves selflessly, intelligently, and uphold a commitment to our patients and to each other.
I write this to celebrate our nurses, to celebrate their integrity and dedication to affecting change in the lives of our friends and loved ones. Your actions don’t go unnoticed, and I extend my gratitude and heartfelt thanks. It takes teamwork and diligence to provide the quality of care that we are committed to, and I feel very proud to be a part of an organization that has the ability to changes lives.
