Visiting Hours and Information
1. General Visiting Hours are from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm; however, staff may limit visiting hours when the patient's condition warrants it and specialty departments such as intensive care units may have other restructions. Please ask your nurse.
2. Visitors must be healthy. Please do not visit if you have a cold or sore throat or have a contagious disease. These illnesses can be very serious for patients in the hospital.
3. Only 2 Visitors per Patient. Additional visitors or larger groups are asked to wait in one of the lobbies, waiting rooms, cafeteria or outside. More than two visitors can be a hindrance to the patient and contribute to noise that makes it difficult for other patients to rest.
4. Use of Restrooms by Visitors. Public Restrooms are provided near waiting areas for visitor use. To prevent spread of infection and to assure patient safety, visitors may not use bathrooms in patient rooms.
5. Children. Must be in good health and have adult supervision at all times. Many children have been exposed to contagious diseases without your knowledge and may infect our patients. Also, at times, children may be louder or more disruptive to our patients than adult visitors. Pleaes supervise your children closely.
6. Shirt and Shoes are Required. This rule is for your safety and to promote the cleanliness of the hospital.
7. No Food or Drink. Please do not eat in patient rooms or waiting areas. Only food that has been approved for the patient can be given to the patient. This ensures the patient's well being as well as a clean environment.
Thank you for taking the time to read and upderstand our visitation policy. With your help, we can keep our patients' environment as quiet and comfortable as possible.
