Twin Cities Community Hospital is the sole provider of hospital care in North San Luis Obispo County. Twin Cities operates 122 acute beds--10 ICU, 10 DOU, 10 OB/ Post Partum and 76 acute medical-surgical. Twin Cities provides ER services in a new 23-suite ER. The hospital serves a population base of about 84,000 in the communities of Paso Robles, Templeton and Atascadero.

The hospital provides a Hospitalist service for patients without a physician admitted through the ER, or for community-based physicians who prefer an office-based practice. An intensivist program provides critical care coverage for all ICU patients.
